Not sure if I understand the way to calculate the check letter but from my calculation 8027406Y should be 8027406W instead. Can anyone clarify?

    please double check, as it can be a 'S' or a 'W' (depending on how you interprete it) but never a 'X'... :-/
    Is there any chance you have edited an offline version? :-)

Sphinx: I've solved it, but the example it showed me up top still computed incorrectly. I was able to correctly get the answer based on the description of how the function was supposed to work, but the example up top did not check.
P.S. I'm right behind you now - you better start solving some of your own challenges, or else you'll be #4 soon!
