  i dont consider this i hint more of a clarification, for the nongram pyramid, how do the number sets read, as an example, if i had on the right side of the pyramid (where the arrow points to the left, 1 2 2, how is it read, would the 1 appear right of the 2 and that appears right of the next 2 or so in terms on binary 1101101 where 1 is a filled in box and 0 is empty (this is an example) or 1011011. i dont know how to make it more clear but i hope that you understand and could clarify

  It is very hard to describe in text ;)

  I am assuming things are the same as at the sites which specialize in this type of puzzle.

  there IS a reason why i consider this my worst challenge...

  the following is a bit of hint, but i'd better give it away than keep the challenge misleading as it is:

  the numbers are not to be read as the sites which specialize in this type of puzzle suggest it. one reason for this is that i didn't know about these sites when i "invented" the challenge. there are two halfways logical ways to interpret the numbers (i don't find any more logical than any other), so either you find out what way i meant (the challenge consists of more than just the pyramid png!), or you try both.

    Wait... so then is this not a proper nonogram? Can it be done with pen and paper in a similar fashion to the first two? Or is there more to it? ... Obviously the third side complicates things, but the way I see it, it's still possible, no? If it isn't I'll feel dumb since I spent about 4 hours today working on it. I found your little hint, but it didn't do much other than worry me... :|

  Sphinx: as I said, the two interpretations equally make sense... making it more self-explanatory would require some more graphical skills (read, I could do it, but it would look ugly).

  Gorydeath: yes, the challenge is pen-and-paperable (as I said, there are only 2 interpretations), but it wouldn't hurt to look for more things than just the nonogram png. They can simplify the work.

  I'm not going to answer the original question directly. An admin can do that if desired. But, while there are two ways to read the numbers, reading them in one of those ways quickly results in an impossible situation.  You should have maybe twenty blocks filled when you realize the problem.  If you choose the wrong read order you'll be forced to put inconsistent values in the pyramid, so start over and use the other order.

  Note to the powers that be: the read order bit is a little frustrating but I kinda like the little twist it provides. I vote keep it.

    Did you solve this yet? If so, you don't seem to have gotten credit.

    There are actually 8 (you forgot the third side) ways to read it if you allow yourself to use different rules on each side.
