Hi all,
We've been with the current host since day one, for slightly over 3 years now. But the server will be retired from service soon and the new ones don't have a Python module we need, so we've to move.
We've narrowed our choices to either Webfaction or Hostgator. Does anybody have any experience with these two hosts?
We plan on getting a 3-year hosting plan costing roughly US234 (at US6.50 per month). We've collected about US160 in donation and about US60 from Google ads, just about enough to pay for the hosting, and nothing left to buy us beer ;)
We aren't sure how smooth the migration will proceed. Hopefully, there won't be too much of a disruption. But if the site should have to go down for a day or two, we'll make it known in advance.
