  Hello All,

   

  I work in the IT-Security field for quite a while now. And I never really tried a Challange webpage like this.

  Most of in my field is Binary Auditing. So I thought, lets give it a go.

   

  Anyway, I never did anything with Cryptology or Stenography. So where did you guys learn this? Tutorials whitepapers? I am thinking of buying a book of Bruce Schneier the Schneier's Cryptography Classics Library Applied Cryptography, Secrets and Lies, and Practical Cryptography

   

  So can anyone give me a whitepaper/tutorial/course or thoughts about that book?

  Well...

  If you are new to Challenge sites you should read "The Challenger's Handbook" at Caesum's.

  I've learned the most about Steganography from +mala's <3564020356.org>

  "Cryptanalysis" by Helen Fouche Gaines and "The Code book" by Simon Singh <http://www.simonsingh.net> can get one oriented in encryption. I am not familiar with Schneier's book.

   

  My short answer to " where did you guys learn this" is  "From a lot of Googleing...  a lot !"
