  It's good to see you guys back, after such a long time.
  
  I didn't really think the old Pyramid would come back, though it was something that just refused to go off.
  
  And it had refused to go off. I have been in touch with silverknight through IRC from time to time. He couldn't quite forget the old Pyramid, and neither could I. And so.
  
  I found a great coder in Bio - he coded this forum and a number of the site's important scripts.
  
  Neither Bio nor I knew Python. And it was probably why we chose it. We both know a little PHP. I've some Perl knowledge but he doesn't like the smell of it.
  
  We hope you'll enjoy the games and make some friends along the way.

    well come on, finding the damn site was the first challenge. Im glad you got your own URL for it.
    CA has gone down hill, and there isnt anything else to do a few other CA based sites, but its all the same. I just remember a few of the people on here from back in the day.
    Like Blackopz, wtf, that dudes still alive?!?!

    Back then, The Pyramid didn't have its own domain. I was doing it on a friend's site (Netquiz, remember?) He had no plans to continue with the site and I didn't have the time and financial means then to continue with the games.
    
    Also, the old Pyramid used text files for the database. That had inherent problems e.g. when the members increase 10 folds. I wasn't prepared then to recode. . .
