We've introduced a badge system to recognise members who have made special efforts to help the site. There are two types of badges (more will be added as the need arises):
Coder Badge
Bearers of this badge have contributed one challenge or more.
Color: light gray
Members: deo, valsa, quangntenemy
Advisor Badge
Bearers of this badge have rendered help with fixing bugs, giving feedback to improve the site, or contributing challenge ideas.
Color: blue
Members: valsa, quangntenemy, Sapr0, silverknight
These badges will appear in the forum pages near the the member's username, after the rank insignia.
Congratulations to the members above!

Added silverknight as one of our Advisors. silverknight was instrumental in bringing the site back. For a long while after the Pyramid was gone, he set up a temporary site in an attempt to keep the members together. Whenever we met on MSN, the subject inevitably reverted to the old Pyramid, and that helped to bring back the good memories. Oh, and the story too. It couldn't have been written any better ;)

Previously, you needed to make 5 challenges of any levels to get a coder's badge. This did not take into the difficulty of the challenges. So someone making 5 Level 1 challenges gets a badge just like someone who makes 5 Level 6 challenges. But obviously the amount of time and effort needed are quite different in both cases and so should be recognised accordingly.
The revised system is based on the number of badge points to be awarded as folllows:
Levels 1 and 2: 1 badge point
Levels 3 and 4: 2 badge points
Levels 5 and 6: 3 badge points
Level 7: 4 badge points
You need 5 badge points to get a coder's page. If two or more persons co-created a challenge, the points are split equally among them.
